• Book idea inputs: titles, descriptions, audience details and any other content you submit for analysis or blueprint generation.
• Payment information: subscription plan, billing status and transaction identifiers. Card details and bank information are collected and processed directly by our payment provider (Razorpay) and are not stored on our servers.
• Usage data: features accessed, analyses performed, timestamps and basic technical information such as device type and browser.

• To provide, operate and improve the BookIdeaLab service.
• To run AI-powered book validation and structure generation on the inputs you submit.
• To manage your account, plan and subscription, and to enforce usage limits.
• To process payments, refunds and renewals through our payment provider.
• To communicate service-related notices, security alerts and support responses.
• To detect, prevent and respond to fraud, abuse and security incidents.

Your data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure protected by encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest. Access to production systems is limited to authorised personnel. While we follow industry-standard practices, no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information with trusted service providers strictly to operate the service:

• Razorpay — payment processing.
• AI model providers — to process your book idea inputs and generate analyses and blueprints.
• Hosting and database providers — to store and serve your account and content.
• Legal authorities — if required by applicable law or to protect our legal rights.

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and secure your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling essential cookies may break parts of the service.

Subject to applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.

BookIdeaLab is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

BookIdeaLab is operated from and primarily serves users in India. If you access the service from outside India, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in India.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use of BookIdeaLab after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
